FRAISEBEC Breakfast Smoothie


  • 125 ml (½ cup) of fresh FraiseBec strawberries cut in half
  • 125 ml (½ cup) of frozen mango cubes
  • 125 ml (½ cup) of plain enriched soy beverage
  • 100 g (1 small individual content) of 2% coconut Greek yogurt
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp.) of oat bran


  • Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Pour in a glass and drink with a straw.


  • If you don’t have soy beverage, use cow milk.
  • Coconut soy tofu can replace Greek yogurt in this recipe.
  • You can also use another flavour of yogurt.
  • For extra omega-3, replace oat bran with ground flaxseeds.
  • For a more liquid consistency, add a bit of water or more soy beverage.

Nutritional Advice

  • To be more nutritious and balanced, a breakfast must include three of the four food groups.
  • If you have difficulty eating breakfast, a solution would be to make a smoothie and drink it on your way to work.
  • Those who have a big appetite in the morning can eat a homemade muffin with their breakfast.
