Chocolate Strawberry Surprise

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 mL (1 cup) icing sugar
  • 60 g (2 oz.) bitter chocolate
  • 5 mL (1 tsp.) vanilla
  • 45 mL (3 tbsp.) milk
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 32 large, ripe FraiseBec strawberries
  • 8 large marshmallows

PREPARATION

Put sugar, chocolate, vanilla and milk in top part of a double boiler.
Melt chocolate and mix well.
Remove from heat.
Stir in egg yolk and let mixture sit a few minutes.
Dip strawberries and marshmallows in chocolate.
Serve.

Makes 4 servings

Note

If you plan to serve this dessert to more people, double all ingredients except the vanilla.
