Strawberry Coulis

INGREDIENTS

  • 30 mL (2 tbsp.) cornstarch
  • 125 mL (1/2 cup) water
  • 60 mL (1/4 cup) sugar
  • 500 mL (2 cups) FraiseBec strawberries

PREPARATION

In a saucepan, dissolve cornstarch in a bit of water:
set aside.
In another saucepan, boil sugar, strawberries
and water for about 5 minutes.
Add dissolved cornstarch and let boil
1 minute.
Blend, then pass through a sieve for a
smoother coulis.

Makes 2 ½ cups
