Strawberry Champagne Punch


  • 1 L (4 cups) FraiseBec strawberries
  • 125 mL (1/2 cup) brandy or cognac
  • 80 mL (1/3 cup) sugar
  • 2 bottles dry, fruity white wine (Riesling varieties) (750 mL each)
  • Large piece of ice
  • 1 bottle of champagne or sparkling


Wash and trim strawberries.
Mix strawberries, brandy, sugar and white wine in a large bowl.
Stir gently until sugar has dissolved.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Cool a punch bowl.
Put piece of ice in punch bowl and pour in strawberry mixture.
Add champagne and serve immediately.
