Strawberry Pie


  • 500 mL (2 cups) hot water
  • 250 mL (1 cup) sugar
  • 45 mL (3 tbsp.) cornstarch
  • 1 box strawberry gelatin powder
  • 500 mL (2 cups) whole FraiseBec strawberries
  • 1 pastry shell, cooked
  • 250 mL (1 cup) whipped cream
  • 60 mL (1/4 cup) nuts
  • FraiseBec strawberries, cut in halves


Gently place whole strawberries in pastry shell in concentric circles; the results will be spectacular.
In a small saucepan, combine water, sugar and cornstarch, and gently cook until mixture thickens.
Remove from heat, stir in gelatin powder and dissolve completely.
Let chill.
Cover whole strawberries (in pastry shell) with strawberry gelatin.
Garnish with whipped cream, nuts and strawberry halves.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
